Let me start off by saying I like guns. My family’s midwestern roots made sure that i was exposed to guns from a very early age. My grandad loved collecting guns, a hobby that went along well with his surplus store. Everything from a .50 caliber that he blew the face off a cliff with to a half dozen deer rifles and a collection of ‘varmint’ guns. He’d carry a .45 on his hip when out on the farm and usually traveled with at least one on a rack in his pickup. I was taught gun safety and how to shoot at age 5 and have since become an excellent shot.

The only beef i have with guns is the fucking NRA, an organization composed of ignorant, redneck,  terd snugglers.  They have unleashed a new set of ads with over the top distortions of Barack Obama’s record.

Democrats aren’t going to touch guns on a national level, like social security, it’s a third rail issue. So for all you moose knuckles at the NRA trying to scare up the Michigan militia types, eat shit. In fact if anyone wants to make a bet about Obama taking away your hunting rifle when he is elected (which he will be), state your wager. I’m down.
